Warehouse Operations Manager

Freestyle productions is looking for a hardworking, forward thinking and energetic Warehouse Operations and Logistics Manager to join our team. The candidate chosen for this position is responsible for overseeing general warehouse operations and facilitation of the logistical side of all events. It requires an well-organized individual who will coordinate the preparation of gear for all events and shows. This includes, maintenance, cleaning and organizing all gear.  This candidate would need to embrace the challenge of planning and executing trucking, delivery and setup while leading a team to stay on top of a year around events calendar.

 

This is a salaried position with additional pay for on-site event and show work, and also for exceptional job performance. Night and weekend availability is a must for this position due to the nature of our industry.

A valid driver’s license is required and must pass DOT physical. The person should be able to lift at least 50lbs unassisted.

 

A working knowledge of production equipment and terminology is preferred

 

JOB DUTIES:

 

• Facilitate smooth job flow and production equipment management in the warehouse

• Prepare and manage show inventory preparation

• Coordinate with staff to drive company trucks and vans for local deliveries and pickups

• Maintain clean fleet vehicles and arrange for any important service needs

• Maintain shop equipment/machines and inspection schedules

• Provide on-site assistance when we setup and load-out production equipment

• Coordinate cleaning/prepping/repairing/labeling equipment

• Provide logistics for shipping and receiving

• Maintain a clean and professional appearance

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

• Clean driving record with background check

• Comfortable driving box trucks with a DOT physical required

• Maintain clear communication when schedules overlap

• Prior forklift experience a plus - we can train you on our equipment

• Above all: Must be willing have fun while your hands are dirty
