Audio-Visual Technician
This A/V technician takes part in the day to day operations of Freestyle Productions. This includes the preparation, setup, operation, strike and occasional transport of equipment for all events and rental.

This position requires a basic knowledge of sound, lighting, video and staging.
​
This position will require odd hours and weekend availability
Responsibilities include:

Preparation of gear for shows and events (including cleaning, minor repairs and labeling)

Loading of Trucks and Vans

Setup of gear on show sites (including running cables, building truss, hanging lighting & audio, setting up cameras, computers, drape..etc)

Operation of equipment as needed

Strike of equipment
-
Returning gear to inventory
-
Occasional transport of gear to and from shows via truck or van

Requirements include:

Basic knowledge of Audio Visual equipment and the ability to show that knowledge

Ability to lift 80 lbs
-
Clean driving record with background check
-
Comfortable driving box trucks with a DOT physical required
-
Maintain clear communication when schedules overlap
-
Prior forklift experience a plus - we can train you on our equipment

Willingness to learn event production and equipment

Above all: Must be willing have fun while your hands are dirty
Salary is based upon experience and commission applied to actual sales.
Job Type: Full-time, Hourly with overtime.
